SHW series oblique reciprocating grate boiler is a product of the National Torch Plan, jointly developed and designed by Yantai Changheng Boiler&Containers, Ltd. and the research team of Hongte Industrial Co.,Ltd, Harbin Institute of Technology, with professor Dong Shan as the leader. It is a kind of technological application-oriented product invented and designed by professor Dong Shan, professor Ding Liqun and professor Wang Wenyu, with three patents, which are respectively the entire oblique reciprocating grate with double reinforcements, natural circulation hot-water boiler with big capacity (≥14MW) and reciprocating new fire grate. Its biggest capacity is 120MW, thus forming two series of products- steam boiler and hot water boiler. It is a new type of boiler with high efficiency, energy conservation and environmental protection.
The patent technology of the natural circulation hot water boiler in big capacity (14MW-120MW series) has designed a proper water circulation system of the boiler. It guides the backwater of the heat-supply network into the upper boiler barrel. Then the distribution pipe will lead the water to the circulation declining area. The hot water of the boiler will be introduced out from the upper boiler, so as to enable the radiation heating surface to form a natural circulation with the convection heating area. If there is a sudden power off, the water circulation of the boiler will still not stop, thus relieving the hazard to the boiler caused by partial vaporization because of a sudden power off.
The professional technology of the entire oblique reciprocating grate with double and several frameworks makes the employment of the reciprocating grate in hot-water boiler of big capacity a possibility. This system adopts a series of transmission device, which can drive the reciprocating movements of two or more than two frameworks synchronously. It presents to be an entity on the grate surface, thus eliminating various disadvantages brought by unsynchronized movements of two grates, so as to make the operation of the boiler to be more stable.
The patent technology of the new grate segments of the reciprocating grate. The grate segments in the SHW series boiler employs high alloy iron and low alloy iron respectively, which are distributed in different areas according to different working conditions, so as to endow the device with stronger burnt-resistance, oxidation-resistant ability and longer operation life. In running the grate, it has a rather low trouble rate and easy maintenance. Because of the employment of the patent technology of the new grate segments of the reciprocating grate, the sectional area of the ventilation of the reciprocating grate has been strictly controlled. It is also more appropriate and reduces the coal leakage amount greatly. As to the coals with the volatile component of no less than 25% and the low heating value of no less than 12.56GJ/kg(3000kcal/kg), they can all catch fire steadily and be burnt thoroughly.
In burning, in addition to the two patent technologies employed by the oblique reciprocating grate, SHW series boiler has experienced years of practical operation and been improved continuously. It has formed reasonable burning conditions to the front and back arches, which will promote the smoke and gas to flow from the back arch to the front arch at a high speed. Then being reflected by the front arch, it will form the backward α flushing. Moreover, the heat accumulation effect of the front arch has strengthened the radiation employment to the coal, so that the new coals in the combustion chamber will be fired soon. The perfect combination between the arches and the reciprocating grate enables the coal to catch fire more easily and be burnt more thoroughly.
SHW series boiler tube bundles employ the vertical flushing means of three return strokes. Furthermore, a proper flowing speed of the smoke and gas has been designed. As a result, in operation, there will be no accumulated dust in the tube bundles. A large-scale reburning chamber has been designed between the combustion chamber and convection heating surface, so as to increase the burning time of the coal particles in the flying ash. Moreover, it has the function of settling the fly ash, thus reducing the original exhausting concentration of the ash effectively, which is much lower than the national standard. Therefore, it is beneficial for protecting the environment around the production area and the living district.
The wall of the SHW series boiler adopts membrane wall and heavy steel frame with high structural intensity, which are assembled on site. The inner layer employs the aluminium silicate fire-proof fiber felt while the second layer employs the glass rock wool insulating felt. Moreover, the outer layer is decorated by the color steel plates, which have the heat insulation and temperature keeping functions. Its noumenon is in hanging structure, which will make sure that the combustion chamber will not break after being heated.
The heating surface at the tail part of SHW series boiler is equipped with a coal economizer made of cast iron. Because it is resistant to the low-temperature erosion, the designed temperature of the gas exhausting can be tried to be reduced, which is usually designed to be 130-160℃, thus improving the heat efficiency of the boiler effectively.
